Maricke du Plessis

It is not for no reason that Maricke signs her art with her childhood nickname Makkie.

It points to the source. The child within. The free one. The explorer. The believer in wonder. The one who likes to laugh. 

Born and based South Africa. She prints at Mimi van der Merwe's Studio: Tait Modern, Colbyn, Pretoria.
